Every proposal is different, so I plan the details with you in advance — the location, timing and how the moment will happen.
There are two ways we can photograph your proposal, depending on your partner, your idea and the location.
The Secret Proposal
You tell me your idea beforehand, and together we plan the exact location, meeting point and timing. I wait discreetly near the agreed spot and photograph the proposal as it happens, without interrupting the moment.
After the proposal, we continue with a couple photoshoot so you also have beautiful photographs of the two of you celebrating afterwards.
Proposal During a Couple Photoshoot
We start with a normal couple photoshoot, so your partner knows there’s a photographer but doesn’t know what’s coming.
At a moment and spot we’ve planned together in advance, you propose. I photograph the reaction, and then we continue the couple photoshoot afterwards.
Which option works better depends on your idea, your partner, the location and the light. We’ll figure that out together before the day.
Where Can We Plan Your Proposal?
Maspalomas dunes, beaches, Puerto de Mogán, hotel gardens (if the hotel allows outside photographers), mountain locations or another beautiful spot around Gran Canaria.
I’ll help you choose the location, exact meeting point and timing so that the plan works naturally with the surroundings and the light.

How does a surprise proposal photoshoot work?
We plan everything in advance, including the location, timing, meeting point and how the proposal will happen. Depending on your plan, I can photograph the proposal discreetly from nearby, or the proposal can happen during a couple photoshoot. After the proposal, we continue with photos of the two of you.
Can the proposal happen during a normal couple photoshoot?
Yes. We start with a regular couple photoshoot, so your partner knows we’re taking photos but doesn’t know about the proposal.
We agree beforehand on the spot and approximate moment when you’ll propose. I photograph the reaction, and afterwards we continue the photoshoot.
How do we plan the proposal without my partner finding out?
We arrange the details privately in advance, including the location, timing, meeting point and how I’ll recognise you.
The exact plan depends on whether I’m photographing the proposal discreetly or whether it will take place during a couple photoshoot.
Can the photographer be hidden for the proposal?
Yes, this is one of the options. We plan the location and meeting point beforehand, and I position myself discreetly nearby to photograph the proposal without interrupting the moment.

Where can we do a proposal photoshoot in Gran Canaria?

The best location depends on the atmosphere you’re looking for, the time of day and how you’d like the proposal to happen.
Can you photograph a proposal at our hotel?
Possibly. Hotels have different rules about outside photographers, and some require permission or may restrict photography on their grounds.

What happens after the proposal?
We continue with a couple of photoshoots. This gives you photographs not only of the proposal and reaction but also relaxed portraits together immediately afterwards while you’re celebrating the moment. reaction but
How far in advance should I contact you?
It’s best to contact me as soon as you know your approximate date. A proposal usually requires more planning than a normal photoshoot because we need to arrange the location, timing and how everything will happen.
