Photographing Anu
Alongside filming the video, I photographed Anu — portraits and some more relaxed, natural shots she could use on her website and for her music. This kind of artist photography is a bit different from a normal portrait session. I tried to get images that actually look like her, not just nice pictures of a person standing somewhere.
Because I was doing the photos and the video myself, it was easier to keep everything feeling like it belonged together.
Filming the Music Video
We filmed at two places on the island that don’t look anything like each other.
Salinas de El Bufadero
The first location was Salinas de El Bufadero, on the northeast coast. Volcanic rocks, natural pools, and the Atlantic Ocean right there in the background. It’s a rougher, more dramatic kind of coastline than the beaches most visitors see.
Pico de las Nieves
The second location was up in the mountains, near Pico de las Nieves — pine forest, much higher up, a completely different feel from the coast. Going from black volcanic rock and ocean to pine trees and mountain air, in the same project, gave the video two very different backgrounds. That contrast is one reason these two locations worked well together.

We filmed the video in Gran Canaria in March 2025, and it was released on 26 September 2025.
